Art Bead Scene January Challenge - Landscape (don't dance) with Stars

I love stars.  There is something wonderfully dreamy and mystical about a star filled sky.   I love watercolor paintings and how seemingly ordinary brushstrokes develop into magnificent works of art.  Henri Edmond-Cross's Landscape with Stars is one of those.  What struck me most about the painting was the use of just two colors (though there are various shades) to create the work.  I decided to experiment with that in the creation of these star shaped beads.

  1. Ooooo I love the backs of the stars not only does the sparkly face look beautiful (I really like the little dots) the back is beautiful too I don't know which side I like the best!

  2. Adorable! The front of your stars makes me think of new stars being born. The back makes me think of fun starfish. You have brought the heavens and the seas together.
